Changes to the Tax Administration’s IP addresses of the certificate service

Some of the existing IP addresses will be used in a different way as the certificate service will undergo a technical update.

Check whether the following changes require any actions:

  • The changes listed below may require that your organisation should make adjustments, etc. especially with regard to firewalls, if you utilise firewalls to restrict access to interfaces or to the locking addresses of certificates.
  • Accordingly, if your organisation uses PKI APIs for retrieving certificates or for renewing them, we’d like to ask you to make sure –  after the changes described below – that your internal firewall settings will still allow connection.

What will change for testing certificates on 25 February 2026:

pkiws-testi.vero.fi:

  • current IP address: 80.242.22.199
  • new IP address: 20.91.225.186

crl-testi.vero.fi:

  • current IP address: 80.242.22.200
  • the address will change from the IP to CNAME, and there will no longer be a fixed IP address, so to open the firewall you must use the DNS name.

For production certificates, the changes are preliminarily scheduled for 25 March 2026 and are as follows:

pkiws.vero.fi:

  • current IP address: 80.242.22.204
  • new IP address: 4.223.172.193

crl.vero.fi:

  • current IP address: 20.242.22.205
  • the address will change from the IP to CNAME, and there will no longer be a fixed IP address, so to open the firewall you must use the DNS name.

cinfo.vero.fi:

  • current IP address: 20.242.22.205
  • the address will change from the IP to CNAME, and there will no longer be a fixed IP address, so to open the firewall you must use the DNS name.
