Revoking a certificate
Request a production certificate to be revoked if
- the private key of your certificate is misplaced or disclosed to unauthorised parties;
- you suspect that a private key has been disclosed to an unauthorised party; or
- the certificate is unnecessary.
- the activities of the organisation you represent have ended because of a business arrangement, for example, in which the organisation merged into another company.
The party granting certificates can revoke a certificate when, for example,
- the agreement entitling to the use of the service ends;
- it is apparent that the issued certificate has been misused; or
- the activities of the organisation that requested the certificate have ended because of a business arrangement, for example, in which the organisation merged into another company.
