You can also use your own file to submit the requested data for the period in the EU VAT scheme for small businesses. You need to sort the data in the order given in these instructions.
The file that you upload into MyTax must be in the CSV format (*.csv), which you can select in Excel under “Save As...” and in many other software programs besides Excel. If the file you are going to upload is not an Excel file, please make sure to use semicolons (;) for delimiters between data elements.
The CSV file’s first row is the header. MyTax will exclude the header from the upload.
After successful upload you will see the uploaded data records at the next stage. If you notice any errors, make the necessary corrections before submitting the report.
There are two ways to do this:
- You can make corrections to the rows of the CSV file, and then upload the corrected file.
- You can make corrections in MyTax directly to the report. Data in MyTax can be edited up to the time when you submit the report.
