When your credit (such as payments or credit interest) has not been used to cover a tax liability or refunded to you, you can see it in the balance specification in MyTax.
-
If you have unused credit, you can see the text “Unused credit or tax refund, see detailed information in the balance specification” below the Payment status section on the MyTax home page.
You can open the balance specification by clicking Balance specification in the Payment status section.
-
You can see the unused credit for self-assessed taxes, for example, under Unused payments, refunds and credits for self-assessed taxes.
Any unused payments, refunds and credits for other than self-assessed taxes are displayed in their own tables in the balance specification.
