Service break in MyTax between 15 and 17 November – take care of your tax matters before the break

MyTax will be down next weekend due to a system upgrade.

  • You will not be able to log in to MyTax on Friday 15 November after 4.30 pm. The service will close at 5 pm and you will be logged out automatically.
  • MyTax will be available again on Sunday 17 November at 6 pm at the latest.

During the service break, you cannot log in to MyTax or manage your taxes there. If possible, take care of your tax matters before the break.

Please remember the following during the service break

MyTax will be unavailable from Friday 15 November 4.30 pm to Sunday 17 November 6 pm. During the service break, you cannot do the following:

  • You cannot request a tax card in MyTax.
  • You cannot pay any taxes in MyTax, and you cannot view payment details. However, you can pay taxes in your online bank. If you intend to do so, make sure to check the account and reference numbers in MyTax before the service break.
  • The tax number register is unavailable. This means that we cannot issue you a tax number or enter you in the tax number register. Read more: Tax number register

Effect on other services – note the times

  • Tax debt certificates: The tax debt register is unavailable between Friday 15 November 4 pm and Monday 18 November 9 am. Tax debt certificates about overdue taxes can be requested from the taxpayer service as of Monday 18 November 9 am.
  • API interfaces: Interfaces close on Saturday 16 November at 1 am and open on Sunday 17 November at 5 pm at the latest.
  • Ilmoitin.fi: During the service break, you can submit reports in the Ilmoitin.fi service and from your own software via an operator. However, we will not process the reports until after the break. The report or data you file is recorded for the day when it is submitted.
  • Palkka.fi: You can calculate wages as usual and your reports will be sent to the Incomes Register, but they will not be transferred to MyTax until after the break. During the service break, the following information will not be transmitted from the Tax Administration to Palkka.fi:
    • changes to payment period details in MyTax
    • payment references for self-assessed taxes
    • tax card details in electronic format from the Tax Administration
    • real-time information on credits for household expenses
    • changes to the employer register (casual employer/regular employer).
