Request to view personal data
Would you like to know what data we process? On this page, you will find instructions on how you can access your personal data we process and request a copy of them.
If your personal data is processed, you have the right to access them and receive a copy of them. This is based on Article 15 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Next, we will give more detailed instruction on, for example, who can make the request, how it is made, and on what schedule we will process the requests.

Who can make the request?
You can personally submit us a request to view your personal data in the e-service of the Positive credit register or you can use the form you can find on the page Paper forms.
The request can be made on your behalf by your legal representative, i.e. a legal guardian, guardian or agent. The person acting on behalf of another party must attach a document, such as a power of attorney, which indicates a specific authorisation to request access to your personal data on your behalf. A representative of the estate of a deceased person cannot request the personal data of the deceased person.
Access to information is free of charge
A copy of your personal data is free of charge.
- However, if you request more copies than one, we may charge a fee for the copy. The fee is determined on the basis of the actual administrative costs incurred by producing the copy.
- If a fee is charged for the copy, we will notify you in advance.
- The grounds for the payment can be found in the Finnish Tax Administration’s price list under Document disclosures.
Send the request online or on a paper form
You can send us a request in
- the e-service of the Positive credit register
- on a paper form, which you can find on our web page Fill in a request for access to your personal data
- Write a free-from request using our contact form
Processing time of requests
We will process your request within one month. Since the copy contains your confidential information, we will verify your identity by phone before submitting the data. We will send the data by letter or e-mail to the address you provided in the form. We can also send the information by registered letter.
