Request to view personal data

According to Article 15 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to know if your personal data is being processed in the Positive credit register. If your personal data is being processed, you have the right to view the data and receive a copy of the data.

A request can be submitted on your behalf by your legal representative, i.e. your guardian or agent. The individual acting on your behalf must attach a document, such as an authorisation, that specifically authorises them to request access to your personal data. Note that a death estate’s representative cannot request the deceased person’s personal data.

Fill in the form carefully and specify the personal data that the request concerns. You can set limitations to the request: for example, what personal data the request concerns or what period of time. If you want to get a comprehensive picture of what personal data we process and for what purposes, please study our data protection procedure.

Send the completed form to:

Positive credit register
P.O. BOX 2
FI-00055 Incomes Register

A copy of personal data is provided free of charge. If you request multiple copies, however, you may be charged. The charge is based on the actual administrative costs incurred from the generation of the copy. If the copy is subject to a charge, we will let you know in advance. You can find the basis of the charge in the Tax Administration’s price list (available in Finnish and Swedish, link to Finnish).

The Incomes Register Unit will process your request within a month. Because the copy contains your confidential data, we will identify you on the phone before delivering the data. The data is sent either by post or by email to the address you have entered in the form. The data can also be sent by registered letter.
