You still have time to sign up as a data notifier

Lenders must sign up as data notifiers in the Positive credit register’s e-service by the end of November.

– The data recorded in the register will be useful in the assessment of creditworthiness only if all the lenders report their loan contract data accurately. Lenders are advised to sign up and apply for a data permission in good time so that they can then concentrate on completing their tasks preceding the rollout, says Aino Sarakorpi, Project Director.

When you are waiting for a decision on your sign-up request or data permission application, please keep an eye on your email spam folder in case the messages go to spam.

The next important date for the Positive credit register is 1 February 2024. On that date, lenders will start reporting their current and new consumer credits to the register. Data will be shared with lenders and authorities as of 1 April 2024, and the e-service will also be opened to private individuals on that date.
