Deficient wage information has been generated on some credit register extracts between October 1 and November 6. The deficiency only applies to a part of credit register extracts requested at this time period. Missing data has been transferred to the register on November 7. Wage information will be correctly shown on the extracts as of 7.11. We apologize for the inconvenience and any harm it may have caused. Read more in the news.

The register will be expanded – participate in our stakeholder event in September and study the instructions

6/17/2024

The Positive credit register will be expanded to include all loans related to private businesses. In the first stage, consumer credits and loans comparable to them were reported to the register. In the second stage, starting 1 December 2025, lenders start reporting loans granted to private individuals other than consumers. The work needed to expand the register has started, and we will organise a stakeholder event about this in the first half of September. The technical documentation and instructions needed will be published in August.

Preparations needed

Lenders should prepare for the expansion of the register in good time. In the second stage of the Positive credit register’s rollout, lenders will start reporting loans other than consumer credits granted to private individuals. Such credits include, for example, loans that business operators have taken out for their business activities. Loans granted to legal persons will not be reported to the register. The reporting starts on 1 December 2025. The reported data can be used when a customer applies for a new business loan starting 1 April 2026.

You can start planning and development in August, so make sure you have sufficient technical and human resources available. Note that you need time to study the documentation and instructions, make plans and prepare for the testing.

Information about stakeholder events on the website and in newsletters

We are improving our website. The Current issues section added to the front page will include information about our stakeholder events, for example, in future. In June, we held stakeholder events about observations made during the register’s first months of use. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to receive information about our current issues and events.

Information about service breaks and technical disruptions or downtime is provided in system information bulletins, as well as on the website. You can subscribe to the system information bulletin to a shared email address or to your personal email.
