Deficient wage information on credit register extracts between October and November

11/11/2024

Some wage information has not been transferred from the Incomes Register to the Positive credit register between September and October. Due to this, deficient wage information has been generated to some credit register extracts requested between 1 October and 6 November. The problem in data transfer has been corrected as of 7 November, so credit register extracts ordered after that include correct wage information.

The cause of the problem was linked to data transfer

The Positive credit register was first informed of the problem in late October when a private individual contacted our customer service. We started investigating the issue and noted that some of the Incomes Register’s records were left out of the data uploads to the Positive credit register. The situation was connected to the transmission process of data. After the cause was localised, we were able to correct the problem. We uploaded all the missing information into the Positive credit register successfully on 7 November 2024. Users who submit an order for a credit register extract on a date after 7 November will receive an extract with correct data. The Positive credit register continues to take steps to investigate the temporary occurrence and regrets any inconvenience the issue may have caused to users.

Did you apply for a credit in October or November? Note the following

Your wage information is only shown on your credit register extracts requested of your information in the Positive credit register’s e-service. The wage information comes from the Incomes Register. You can look up a history listing in the Positive credit register’s e-service that shows all the credit register extracts that have been ordered of your information.

  • If you have not applied for a credit between 1 October and 6 November, you do not need to do anything.
  • If you have applied for a credit between 1 October and 6 November, we recommend that you log in to our e-service and use the “Check my credit register extract” feature.

If you notice any missing data concerning your wages, and you suspect that the missing information may have affected the way your loan application was handled, please contact your lender.
