Deficient wage information has been generated on some credit register extracts between October 1 and November 6. The deficiency only applies to a part of credit register extracts requested at this time period. Missing data has been transferred to the register on November 7. You can receive current information about the register and our systems in different ways:

If you are your organisation’s new contact person, please sign up for stakeholder cooperation to automatically receive current information and invitations to our stakeholder events. Also fill in the sign-up form if you need to update your organisation’s contact information or want to remove your email address from our stakeholder mailing list at any time.
The Positive credit register regularly provides current information for stakeholders and sends them invitations to stakeholder events. Sign up for our stakeholder mailing list to receive the above information.

More data to be reported to the register

In the first stage, consumer credits and loans comparable to them have been reported to the register. In the second stage, starting 1 December 2025, lenders will also start reporting loans granted to individuals other than consumers. Such loans include loans granted to private businesses.

Important dates in the second stage:

  • Reporting of data begins on 1 December 2025.
  • Utilisation of credit register extracts begins on 1 April 2026.

Prepare for the second stage carefully. Study technical documentation, such as the API descriptions of the second stage.

In addition to technical instructions, also read instructions on how to report and request data. The instructions will be updated with information regarding the second stage as the project progresses.

First stakeholder meeting of the second stage in January 2025

Starting in January 2025, we will hold stakeholder meetings regarding the second stage of the register to provide support for new data notifiers and other interested parties. In these meetings, we will look more closely into the reporting of data and the technical requirements of the register. The stakeholder meetings will be held in Finnish only.
We will have meetings at 2-week intervals, always at the same time. You will need a Teams link to participate. You will receive the link by email if you have signed up for stakeholder cooperation. If you are a new contact person for stakeholder cooperation, submit your contact information to us by filling in the sign-up form.

Stakeholder testing starts in spring 2025

The data content of the second stage will be available for testing before the rollout.

  • Stakeholders can start testing the reporting and requesting of data on 3 March 2025.

We will update the instructions on stakeholder testing with information relevant to the second stage in January 2025 at the latest.
