How to file and correct real estate details in MyTax

  1. Find Activities and select All activities.

  2. Go to the section Tax returns and tax information. Select Real estate tax.

  3. Read the instructions  and click I have read the instructions. Proceed to the next stage, Real estate details.

  4. If you are reporting a new real estate unit, select Add real estate unit.

    If you are making corrections to an existing real estate unit, select the property identifier of the unit whose details you wish to edit. Continue from step 7 of these instructions.

  5. If the entire real estate unit, including buildings, is missing, select Real estate unit. Add the details on the real estate unit and, after that, the buildings located on the real estate unit.

    If just buildings are missing, select Building. Enter the details on the building.

    Once everything is correct, click OK. Move to step 10 of these instructions.

  6. Select the link for the details that you wish to report or edit, such as ground or building details. On this page, you can also edit the real estate unit’s ownership and possession details (see instructions: How to change the ownership and possession details of a real estate unit).

  7. Enter the correct information and click OK.

  8. After you have made the necessary changes, click OK.

  9. Proceed to the next stage, Additional details and attachments.

  10. Add attachments as needed. Make sure that the contact information is correct. Go to the next stage, which is Preview and send.

  11. Check the details you have entered to make sure everything is correct. When all the details are correct, submit the real estate tax return.
