Limited liability companies and housing companies can now authorise another person or company to act on their behalf in the Incomes Register through Suomi.fi e-Authorisations even if multiple people together have the right to sign for the company.
Authorisations can be granted in the Suomi.fi e-Authorisations if the signatory rule in accordance with the company’s articles of association is
- the board of a limited liability company or a housing company together
- two board members of a limited liability company or a housing company together
- the chairman of the board and a board member together.
Multiple individuals with the right to sign for the company can authorise together if the Trade Register has information on the signatory rule of the limited liability company or housing company and the individuals have Finnish personal identity codes.
If you have an official role, you can act in the Incomes Register without an authorisation
You can act in the Incomes Register on behalf of a limited liability company or a housing company without an authorisation if you have an official role. Such official roles include, for example:
- managing director
- substitute for the managing director
- chairman of the board
- member of the board.
The official role must be entered in the Trade Register.
Suomi.fi authorisations will gradually replace Katso authorisations
Katso authorisations will remain in use in the Incomes Register until the latter half of 2020. You can start using the Suomi.fi authorisations as they introduce new features.
Using Katso authorisations in the Incomes Register
Katso authorisations are valid in the Incomes Register in 2020, even if the person signs in to the Incomes Register's e-service using online banking codes, a mobile certificate or a certificate card.
Katso authorisations will be entirely taken out of use in the Incomes Register at the end of 2020. In order to be able to continue using the e-service after this, each authorised person must ask for Suomi.fi authorisations from the authorising party as soon as possible.
